Spring Conference 2013
April 26-28th at Community Homestead
This is an annual conference that is inclusive and open to people of all abilities. It is held every year, each time with a different theme, and each time in a different lifesharing community in the North America. This year's theme is Biography.
Key note Speaker Sharlene Bellefeuille is an Outreach Specialist for the Alzheimer’s Association Greater WI Chapter. Her presentation enfolds factual insight into Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, together with storytelling, lecture, audience participation, and demonstration to deepen her audiences understanding of dementia and practical ideas to accompany friends and relatives in this life experience.
Saturday Workshops will explore questions of personal and cultural biography through practical and artistic experiences while time is made for participants to share their own insights. Limited accommodation is available through Community Homestead or can be found in the area Polk County Tourism Office
